Khamma Ghani Jaipur Film Festival

About the festival

About KJFF

A youth-oriented film festival with film training, film production, film screening and film competition — all in one.

Khamma Ghani Jaipur Film Festival (KJFF) trains young people in filmmaking, produces short films with them, and screens and celebrates their work alongside films from filmmakers across the world.

Our tagline — Ab Har Ghar Mein Film Banegi — says it simply: film is a powerful medium for expression, creativity and social change, and its tools should be accessible to everyone.

## A festival that makes films
Under the KJFF School Universe and College Universe, we train students from schools, colleges, universities and NGOs in every aspect of filmmaking using mobile technology, and produce a short film with each participating institution. The Professional Category opens the festival to short films from filmmakers around the world.

## What we set out to do
- Cultivate a new generation of young filmmakers
- Promote filmmaking as a viable career, especially in Rajasthan
- Demystify the filmmaking process and make it easy to start
- Bridge the gap between education and employable creative skills
- Give aspiring filmmakers a supportive space to find their voice and tell their stories
- Help make Jaipur a film hub and an inclusive home for artists and filmmakers

## Organised by Nirjeet Entertainments
